Strong day for Mac utilities and open-weight AI models. Minimi brings ambient memory to Claude, NVIDIA drops its biggest open model, and Ideogram goes open-weight.
Claude went down today with a possible data leak scare, Apple's WWDC is Monday, and GitHub Copilot's new billing model is causing developer revolt.
Elevated errors hit claude.ai, Claude API, Claude Code, and Cowork starting at 8:08 PT. All Opus models (4.5–4.8) and Sonnet 4.6 were affected, with recovery taking over two hours.
More concerning: Anthropic is investigating social media reports that Claude returned responses meant for other users during the disruption — a potential cross-user data leak.
Ideogram goes open-weight with ComfyUI support on day zero, and Tencent eliminates the VAE bottleneck with pixel-space generation.
ComfyUI shipped native Ideogram 4.0 support on launch day. The 9.3B model supports structured JSON prompts with bounding-box layout control (normalized 0–1000 coords), up to 16 hex colors per image, and typed text elements with separate styling descriptions.
Available in ComfyUI 0.24.0 with downloadable workflow templates. Inference code is Apache 2.0; model weights are under Ideogram's non-commercial license (commercial use requires a paid license).
Self-hosted calendar sync with an MCP server, a sovereign European office suite, and the next-gen video codec.
