Alibaba released four Qwen 3.5 models: Flash, 27B, 35B-A3B (MoE), and 122B-A10B (MoE). The 35B-A3B model with only 3B active parameters surpasses the previous Qwen3-235B-A22B — running on a single RTX 3090. The 122B-A10B edges out GPT-5-mini on most benchmarks.
Early agentic coding tests show the 35B-A3B is a "gamechanger" for local coding agents. Community reception on LocalLLaMA is electric, with 600+ upvotes across multiple threads.
